Just installed Autometer fuel pressure gauge inside the car.
vaccum pressure at 42 PSI frown
statics pressure at 50 PSI. frown
WTF, this is too low. Also, the new A/F meter indicated Lean when I am boosting. mad
    This is not good.
Is there anyway I can dial up the pressure from the JR regulator?
Or could it be the Fuel filter clogged that cause this? (not likely, I changed it 35K miles ago and alwlays run AMOCO Gold 93 octane)

It is def. too low since you are using the crappy JR riser and especially since you aree showing lean when boosting. Raise it to 60 and see where the A/F is at after that. The pressures you described are one that we Teg guys see when using the Cartech FMU but we are normally seeing anywhere from 60-70 at static but can change the rise rate to each specific setup. You my friend are stuck with the same rise rate frown

    Holden,
The car is 95 GSR with the base 6PSI JRSC kit.
I just ordered a 255ltr/hr high pressure fuel pump. Hope it will be here next week.
I will order the Cartech 20005 from Jim next week when I am back home from my trip.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody and drive safe.
    Ben

    Benny,

Yes, your fuel pressure is too low. Loosen the 1/2" nut on top of the JR regulator, and using a 3/16" hex key, turn the adjustment screw clockwise (in) until the desired pressure is reached. 60 psi static is a real good starting place. Then tighten the jam nut... plug your vaccuum line back on to the JR FMU and you are done. Go test drive.

    Jim,
Thanks for the advice on how to adjust the pressure on the JR FMU.
After I adjusted the static pressure to 60PSI. Fuel pressure with vaccum is still at 42PSI.
My fuel pressure is at an alarming low 69PSI when I am at 6PSI boost and the A/F gauge shown lean on boost.

I just installed Walbro High Pressure Fuel Pump last night.
The installation was relatively easy by following Greg Holden's instruction in his website. Thanks Greg!!!!! smile
Took the car out for a spin.
I finally can see 3 Green LED Rich on the A/F meter when I punch the gas pedal (Auto Meter Fuel Pressure Gauge shown a healthy 88 PSI). The car felt so much stronger than it used to. I can't help myself with grin biggrin
I strongly recommend all car with JRSC, even the base 6PSI kit, should upgrade the fuel pump. It is cheap insurance again running lean when your stock pump can not keep up at high fuel pressure.
I still have not decided on going with the Cartech FMU or wait for the Zdyne SECU to fine tune the fuel.
    Thanks,
    Ben

PS. I noticed the pump was lounder than stock before I put the seat cushion on. However, after I put the seat cushion back on I did not notice the noise any more, it is as quiet as the stock pump.
